The Dairy Industry of Lamia was founded in 1963 and is located at Kalyvia, Lamia. In the first years of its operation it was a joint venture of the Agricultural Bank of Greece and the Agricultural Cooperative of Lamia. Since 1994 it belongs exclusively to the Agricultural Cooperative of Lamia.

Today it is a modern factory that meets all of the European standards. The factory produces high quality pasteurized milk, as well as many other dairy products. All of the products are characterized by their quality, taste and nutritional value. Lamia fresh milk is produced in the mountains and plains of Rumeli.
